Wazee Union has joined the Month of Photography and invites all artists to submit their photographic work for a jured show in one of Colorado’s largest gallery's! Expect an incredible amount of art, large-scale wheat pasting, live music and one epic night.
Theme:
“Rejected.” Artists are encouraged to create new works in reference to the theme with their own personal style.
Criteria for selection:
Digital or Darkroom - Artist proofs and limited editions of photo generated images. No mass reproductions. all accepted work must be framed and ready for hanging! Size is limited to 8 x 10 feet per piece, but artworks of all sizes are encouraged.
How to Enter:
1. Entry fee is $25 (non-refundable) for up to 3 pieces. each additional piece is $10.00 with no limit to the amount of submissions. Postal Money Orders and Personal Checks only! Please make all checks payable to Wazee Union.
2. Include a digital copy (jpeg, gif, pdf, etc) for each piece on cd-rom at 75dpi, no larger then 1mb per image. All images must have the name of the piece in the title of the file.
3. Complete the entry form which can be downloaded from www.wazeeunion.com/rejected.pdf
4. Mail entry fee, cd-rom, and entry form to Wazee Union, 3501 Wazee Street, Denver CO 80216.
Timeline:
March 5th - Deadline for submissions (any submissions received after midnight will be returned)
Artists will be notified of acceptance status, and find out when and where to deliver work.
March 8th or at gallery’s discretion – Art drop off 9am to 8pm.
Saturday March 12th - Gallery show hours start 6pm to 11pm (RiNo's Second Saturday)
Friday April 1st - Artwork pick-up from 3-6pm, or unless other arrangements have been made.
